We went to a local egg hunt today. We went a few years back, but Bailey was small and it was safe. This year, Bailey was hunting in a larger category and although they claimed there were a thousand eggs in the lawn, they were gone in less than thirty seconds, and that is not an exaggeration. After witnessing many parents shoving their way through for their children and stuff as many eggs into their child's basket as they could, we both have agreed to never subject our child or ourselves to such a tragedy that is the Local Egg Hunt. Oh no. Never again. Oh, and here is Bailey's haul:
And trust us, we're grateful and perfectly fine with these two eggs. So much so, that we'll save the eggs for next year's egg hunters. We'll just buy our own in the future.
