Oh farm, how we missed thee

We haven't been to the farm since Halloween, which wasn't by choice. We're fond of the Deanna Rose Farmstead, so much so that we have spent many a day there spring, summer and fall. And fortunately, our dear blessed farm opened for the season starting yesterday, and so we visited it in wild anticipation of yet another fantastic season.

Bailey remembered it like we had been there recently, yet re-explored as much as she could, her favorite peacocks, her favorite goats, her favorite chickens, and everything else in between. She slid like she had never been down a slide before. She reacquainted herself with the play areas. She questioned some of the new construction. She admired their new piglets. She searched for the turkeys wondering where they were. And she was happy to see her cow Pippi in the fields and is anxious that Charlotte the cow will have a baby just as Pippi did last year and can't wait to watch her being milked sometime this spring. They also added a cow trivia game in the theatre which we participated in. Yeah, it's good to be back.
