Don't Tell Daddy...

But this conversation took place between my child and I.


"Daddy's coming home early."

"Why?"

"Because he's sick."


"Is it because he's getting older?"

(laughs) "No."


"Does he not remember anything anymore?"

(still laughing) "He remembers some things."


"Well, last night he didn't remember which counter the bowl and spoon goes on."


(Mommy is still laughing.) "That happens. He never remembers that."



(And don't freak Grandma, it's allergy-related. He should be feeling better by Easter.)
