Oh My Gosh!

Our small town was the victim of some scary storms on Monday.  (We also received a nasty episode again that night as well as Tuesday evening.)  But this entry is entirely about the day storms on Monday.  The sky was so dark by 11am, you would've thought it was the evening.  Meanwhile, Bailey was safely tucked away at the Kids' Day out program at her preschool building (even though preschool itself is out for the summer).  Very high speed winds whipped through our neighborhood, temporarily taking out power and cable a few different times.  We had a couple minutes of heavy hail (but we never received any of the reported baseball sized hail, ours was just tiny, but in large doses).  The rain came down hard and the damage that was left was extensive in some parts of town.  Our house fortunately was safe but there were some things in our backyard that still managed to garner an "OH MY GOSH!" reaction out of Bailey when she returned home.
